Election showdown: 7 swing states to decide US presidency
With the US presidential election just around the corner, all eyes are on seven pivotal swing states: Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia.
These battlegrounds, each with a mix of electoral votes, are expected to play a crucial role in determining whether Democrat Kamala Harris or Republican Donald Trump will emerge victorious.
In the Electoral College system, the candidate who wins the majority of votes in these states secures all of their electoral votes.
With these states holding 93 electoral votes in total, their unpredictable outcomes are vital.
Recent polls show Trump and Harris in a tight race, with Trump slightly ahead in five of the seven states.
However, according to Real Clear Politics, Trump leads Harris by less than 1% in five of the seven swing states.
