Dozens of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks found in mass grave in Gaza
The bodies of dozens of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks and buried in a mass grave have been recovered in the northern Gaza town of Beit Lahia.
Civil defense officials said they had recovered the bodies of 30 Palestinians buried near Kamal Adwan Hospital.
They expect to recover a total of 40 bodies once the operation is complete.
The remains of the Palestinians exhumed from the mass grave will be reburied after identification.
Israel has killed over 60,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and more than 111,000 others in its genocide in Gaza since October 2023.
The Government Media Office recently updated its death toll to at least 61,709, saying thousands of Palestinians missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
