Doctors Without Borders suspends work in Burkina Faso after 2 employees killed
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (AFP):
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has announced the suspension of its work in Burkina Faso after two employees were killed in an attack by armed men.
“Following the attack in which two of our staff were killed on 8 February in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, we are suspending all our activities in the country,” MSF wrote on Twitter. “We will only respond to life-saving emergencies for an indefinite period.”
