Decorated soldier behind Las Vegas cyber truck explosion
Highly decorated U.S. Special Forces’ Master Sgt. Matthew Alan Livelsberger has been identified as the driver who detonated a homemade bomb in Las Vegas.
The bomb exploded in a Tesla Cyber Truck parked outside the Trump International Hotel.
Despite his extensive military background, including numerous deployments and specialized explosives training, the explosion caused minimal physical damage.
The blast left the hotel’s glass doors and nearby chandeliers intact, while injuring seven bystanders.
Livelsberger, who died in the incident, was the only fatality.
This unexpected outcome has led authorities and fellow soldiers to speculate about his motives.
Conversations among Green Berets suggest that rather than aiming for destruction, Livelsberger might have been signaling distress related to unrecognized mental health issues.
The FBI and local authorities are investigating the incident.
The United States Army Special Forces are known as the “Green Berets” due to their distinctive service headgear.
