Dallas welcomes 20,000 for historic 61st ISNA Convention
Approximately 20,000 people attended the 61st annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America or ISNA at Dallas’ Anatole Convention Centre over Labor Day weekend.
It was the first time ISNA has held the annual conference in Dallas, which featured more than 100 speakers, interfaith events, and panels focused on critical issues like the state of Palestine, Jammu and Kashmir, and Sudan.
The convention included participation from White House officials and leaders at various levels.
ISNA is the largest organization of Muslims in North America and was established in 1963.
Its annual convention is held in different states across the US every year.
