Communication blackout in Gaza for 48 hours
Palestinian Territories – AFP
The UN agency for Palestinian refugees has reported a “prolonged communications blackout” across Gaza that started on Thursday night and continued for 48 hours.
The blackout was caused by Israeli attack on Palestinians telecommunication infrastructure, according to the company that provides telecommunication services in Gaza.
The blackout made it even harder for people to contact rescue services and shift those wounded in Israeli strikes to the few functioning hospitals in the enclave.
