Colleagues protest following death of Palestinian journalist Abu Daka in Khan Younis
Palestinian media workers held a protest in memory of journalist Mohammed Abu Daka, who was killed by Israeli airstrikes on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza.
In protest against being targeted by Israeli attacks, the journalists took off their “PRESS” vests, laid them on the ground and prayed for their deceased colleagues.
The number of journalists killed in Israel’s war on Gaza since Oct. 7 has reached 164.
