Bitcoin, cryptos fall after assassination attempt on Trump
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies witnessed sharp decline after the recent assassination attempt on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency, saw a decrease of 4.1% on Monday.
Ethereum, the world’s largest altcoin, was at $2,288 at the time with a daily loss of more than 5%.
The value of the cryptocurrency market stood at $2.02 trillion with a 3.78% daily decrease.
Bitcoin’s share, known as dominance, was at 56.6%. Ethereum’s was at 13.6%, according to CoinMarketCap.
