Biden Says U.S. To Overcome Inflation
U.S. President Joe Biden says the American economy is well positioned to overcome inflation.
Biden’s comments came a day after he criticized the financial industry and major oil corporations.
He tweeted, “the economy had stalled and COVID was out of control” when he took office.
Biden called what’s happened since then “the most robust recovery in modern history.”
The U.S. is now better positioned to overcome global inflation, he added.
Biden emphasized that unions built the American middle class by providing democracy in the workplace.
He added that strengthening workers and the middle class will “increase opportunity and decrease persistent inequity”.
