Belgium mulls providing heavy weapons to Ukraine
BRUSSELS – The Belgian government will consider providing heavy weapons and military material to Ukraine as the war between Russia and Ukraine continues.
In a meeting to be chaired by Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, members of the federal government will discuss providing additional support to Ukraine, including armored vehicles and artillery weapons.
Belgium has already provided 5,000 automatic weapons, 200 anti-tank weapons and 3,800 tons of fuel to Ukraine in February.
