Beirut welcomes spring with vibrant local art and crafts market
Salon Beirut hosts three-day Spring Market featuring 29 artists and makers
BEIRUT, Lebanon (MNTV) – As spring breathes new life into Beirut’s streets, one local venue is celebrating the season with a creative twist.
Salon Beirut has opened its doors to the Spring Market, a three-day event bringing together 29 local artists, designers, and independent businesses.
Organized by Jark Online, the market launched on April 1 and offers a rich selection of handcrafted and eco-friendly goods — from original paintings and sculptures to handmade clothing, jewelry, and home décor.
Visitors can also browse through houseplants, artisanal soaps, sustainable products, and a variety of locally-made foods.
“We wanted to create a space where artists and small businesses could share their work in a warm and welcoming environment,” said one of the event organizers.
“There’s something for everyone here — it’s a celebration of local creativity and community.”
The Spring Market is part of a growing movement in Beirut to support local artisans and promote sustainability, especially at a time when small businesses face ongoing economic challenges.
With its festive ambiance and diverse offerings, the event not only marks the arrival of spring — it also highlights the resilience and talent of Lebanon’s creative community.
