Baghdad tanker blast kills at least 8
Baghdad, Iraq (AFP)
A tanker explosion in Baghdad on Saturday killed at least eight people, medics and security sources said, but it was not immediately clear if it was an attack or an accident.
“There are eight dead and 20 injured,” a medical source told AFP. The explosion, heard across much of Iraq’s capital, was in a car park in a residential area of eastern Baghdad. “We are investigating the reasons for the explosion,” a security forces statement said.
