At least 2 dead as Tunisian military helicopter crashes at sea
TUNIS, Tunisia (AA): Tunisia’s Defense Ministry said Thursday that a military helicopter had crashed at sea.
In a statement, the ministry said two bodies and parts of the wreckage had been recovered.
“The search operation is still ongoing to find the bodies of the two other crew members,” it added.
The statement did not specify the cause of the crash.
The ministry said earlier that the military helicopter had gone missing late Wednesday during a mission near Bizerte in northern Tunisia, off the Mediterranean.
