At least 14 killed in Afghanistan bomb attacks
KABUL, Afghanistan (AA) – A series of bomb attacks killed at least 14 people in two cities of Afghanistan, security sources said Wednesday.
Five deaths were reported when an explosion targeted worshippers inside Prophet Zechariah Mosque in Kabul, said police spokesperson Khalid Zadran on social media.
At least nine people were killed and 15 wounded in three separate similar attacks in Mazar-e-Sharif, according to provincial police sources.
The ISIS terror group has recently stepped-up attacks across Afghanistan, challenging the Taliban, who took control of the country last August.
