Eyewitnesses earlier said that Israeli forces raided the town of Jaba’ near Jenin and besieged a house there.
Thursday’s death brought to 343 the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank since Oct. 7, according to figures released by the Health Ministry.
Tensions have been high across the West Bank since Israel launched a deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip following an attack by Hamas which Israel says killed 1,140 Israelis.
