A Babysitter Calls Homeland Security On A Muslim Mother
Islamophobia has led a Muslim mother in San Juan Island, Washington to make a life changing decision.
The Washington Post revealed that the woman’s babysitter called the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, claiming that the Muslim woman’s baby had undergone female genital mutilation (FGM).
The babysitter also invited a friend to examine the child without her parents’ knowledge or consent.
That friend, who publicly posts on her Facebook links from Tucker Carlson and Fox News, called Homeland Security on the babysitter’s behalf.
It was all because she knew that the mother of the baby is Muslim.
Homeland Security agents looked into the claim along with local authorities and found no evidence of a crime.
The mother has now quit her job to take care of her baby, and is contemplating filing charges against the babysitter.
The Post’s report on the incident generated more than 2000 comments, with the vast majority sympathizing with the mother.
