Muslim Festival To Return To Manchester This Month
An award-winning Muslim Arts and Culture International Festival, MACFEST, returns to Manchester this February.
The festival, which started Saturday, offers more than 75 events celebrating the cultural heritage of Muslim communities.
It will include talk panels, art exhibitions, and numerous workshops covering the topics of Muslim literature, art, photography, and comedy, among others.
Local speakers will be accompanied by performers, academics, and artists from all over the world.
The festival will host digital and in-person events.
On Wednesday, there will be a discussion among students from across the U.K. on climate change and its impact on British youth.
On Feb. 20, another panel discussion on climate change will be hosted with young people from Malaysia, Germany, India, the U.K., and the Philippines.
