Nearly one million Palestinians face extreme cold in Gaza: UN
Nearly one million displaced Palestinians in war-torn Gaza are at risk of extreme cold and rain this winter.
The UN agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) has called for protection of displaced people from rain and cold in Gaza.
The agency said 945,000 people are at risk of exposure this winter.
UNRWA said the human cost of the war is unbearable, reiterating its call for an immediate cease-fire in Israel’s genocide in Gaza to prevent further suffering.
