Israel kills 25 kills Palestinians in Gaza
Israel has killed as many as 25 Palestinians since dawn Tuesday in an airstrike targeting a crowded area in the city of Deir el-Balah.
The situation in Beit Hanoon remains dire as the area has been under siege for more than 40 days.
Families displaced by Israel’s ongoing violence have sought refuge in schools and unbombed homes, surviving without food for weeks.

The US told Israel last month it had 30 days to significantly increase the humanitarian aid it allows into Gaza.
Israel has failed to meet this deadline, which expired today.
In Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes killed one person and injured four in Hermel, while artillery shelling with incendiary phosphorus shells struck areas in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army has also ordered evacuations from several neighborhoods in southern Beirut ahead of potential airstrikes.
Israel’s war and violence in Gaza has killed at least 43,603 Palestinians and wounded 102,929 since Oct. 7, 2023.
In Lebanon, at least 3,243 people have been killed and 14,134 wounded in Israeli attacks since the Gaza war began.
An estimate published by experts in the British medical journal The Lancet last July reported the actual number may be as high as 186,000.
