Trump attacks Bangladesh, appealing to Hindu voters
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump tweeted support for minorities in Bangladesh, and promised to build strong ties with India this week.
He wrote on social media platform X: “I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos.”
Trump claimed that would have never happened on his watch.
He criticized Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden for ignoring Hindus across the world and in America.
He wrote: “We will also protect Hindu Americans against the anti-religion agenda of the radical left.”
Trump also promised that his administration would strengthen America’s partnership with India and what he called his “good friend Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
