Trump campaign accuses Biden, Harris of breaching campaign finance laws
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s campaign has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
It alleges that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris breached campaign finance laws.
The complaint claims that Biden’s $91 million in campaign funds were improperly transferred to Harris’ campaign after Biden’s exit from the presidential race on Sunday.
Trump’s team describes the move as a “brazen money grab,” labeling it the largest violation in the history of federal campaign finance laws.
They argue Harris’ campaign is unlawfully benefiting from Biden’s leftover funds and has falsely reported the transfer in official documents.
The complaint targets Biden, Harris, their campaign committees, and their treasurer for what they claim is a massive financial and legal breach.
