Israel kills 7 Palestinians, including 3 children, in Gaza
GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – Seven people, including three children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to local authorities.
The Health Ministry said four people, including three children, were killed and 10 others injured in a strike targeting a house in Abasan al-Kabira area in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Three more people lost their lives when Israeli forces shelled a group of civilians north of Gaza City, the Civil Defense Agency said.
Israel has killed nearly 38,800 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 89,100, according to local health authorities.
After nine months of Israel’s attacks, vast tracts of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.
Israel is accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered it to immediately halt its military operation in the southern city of Rafah, where more than 1 million Palestinians had sought refuge from the war before it was invaded on May 6.
