Israeli forces demolish Palestinian home in West Bank
Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian family’s home in the southern occupied West Bank, claiming it was “built without a license.”
Israel widely uses the pretext of lack of construction permits to demolish Palestinian homes, especially in Area C, which is under Israeli army control.
Under the 1995 Oslo Accords between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, was divided into three portions — Areas A, B, and C.
Tensions have been running high across the West Bank since Israel began its war on Gaza last October.
