Israel kills Palestinian civilians going to get food
Many Palestinian civilians including children were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes in the city of Rafah on Monday.
The civilians were reportedly on their way to get food.
Footage shows the corpses of the victims on the floor and family members praying and crying.
A father is seen saying his son had gone out to get food and along the way Israel bombed him.
The family had moved from Gaza City to the southern point of Rafah for safety.
On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved operational plans for an attack on Rafah.
He claims it is the “last stronghold of Hamas” and insists on attacking it despite escalating regional and international warnings.
The area is home to about 1.4 million Palestinians, the majority of whom have been displaced in the last six months of Israel’s war on Gaza.
