Israeli strikes kill 78 Palestinians in 24 hours, over hundred wounded

The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that Israeli airstrikes killed 78 Palestinians and wounded 104 others in the past 24 hours.
At least 20 people have died from malnutrition and dehydration at Kamal Adwan and al-Shifa hospitals. Most of the dead are children.
At the Emirati Hospital in Rafah, 16 premature babies died of malnutrition-related causes over the past five weeks, one of the senior doctors told media outlets.
Additionally, five Palestinians were killed and another injured due to a failed aid drop in Gaza City, according to Al Jazeera. The casualties occurred following a botched attempt to drop humanitarian aid from a U.S. plane. The heavy boxes ended up landing in a residential area in Sheikh Radwan, northwest of Gaza City.
Hamas claimed its fighters killed six Israeli soldiers in an ambush in Hamad Town, north of the city of Khan Yunis. According to The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, soldiers were engaging in a “tight” ambush inside a residential apartment.
On eve of International Women’s Day, U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA said Israeli forces have killed on average 63 Palestinian women, including 37 mothers, in Gaza each day since Oct. 7.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces allegedly assaulted worshippers in Jerusalem’s Old City Friday, leading to arrests and clashes.
Since Oct. 7, Israeli attacks have killed 30,878 Palestinians and injured 72,402 more in Gaza.
