Assad regime attack in Syria kills 4 civilians, injures 11
IDLIB (AA) – Four Syrians were killed and 11 injured on Monday in an attack by the Bashar al-Assad regime in western Aleppo, said local sources.
According to civilian defense sources, the regime forces, stationed in the town of Nubbul in northwest Aleppo, along with Iranian-backed groups, launched an attack on the Darat Izza district in western Aleppo using surface-to-surface weapons.
The wounded were taken to hospitals.
Syria has been embroiled in a vicious civil war since early 2011, when the Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed and more than 10 million others displaced, according to UN estimates.
