Hezbollah strikes Israeli army locations, settlements in northern Israel
BEIRUT (AA) – Hezbollah struck several Israeli army locations and illegal Jewish settlements in response to Israel directly targeting civilian homes in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the Hezbollah said it targeted the illegal Israeli settlements of Doviv and Avivim with appropriate weapons.
“The [Lebanese Hezbollah] resistance reiterates that it will not tolerate any harm to civilians and will not allow the violation of our towns and villages,” the Hezbollah statement said.
In a second statement, the group said its fighters targeted gathering points of Israeli forces in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, “using missile and artillery weapons,” and claimed to have achieved direct hits.
A third statement by the group said that the Hezbollah fighters carried out an aerial attack.
