7.5 million pilgrims visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina
MADINA, Saudi Arabia — More than 7.5 million pilgrims visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madina in Saudi Arabia after the conclusion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
According to Saudi authorities, pilgrims were offered a variety of services, including guidance, translation, assistance for wheelchair users, and distribution of Zamzam water and gifts.
Many pilgrims also visited the exhibition on the architecture of the mosque.
The Prophet’s Mosque is an important pilgrimage site for Muslims, which is crowded especially after the Hajj season.

The General Presidium for the Prophet’s Mosque Affairs provided services such as guided tours and translation to 52,000 visitors.
Wheelchairs were provided for 20,038 elderly and disabled visitors.

The library of the Prophet’s Mosque was visited by 18,050 people.
In addition, the General Presidium distributed 72,672 packets of Zamzam water and 55,825 breakfast meals.
