Inside the market, various scenes show people actively shopping for halal goods. Alper Turkeli, a Turkish vendor working alongside his wife said, “We came here [in Kazan, Tatarstan] in 2011. We sell halal meats… This market was opened in 2011…” Notably, the Halal Market’s appeal is not limited to Muslims alone, as it also attracts Christian customers seeking halal-certified products.
