Russian city organizes modest fashion show
KAZAN, Tatarstan – On the sidelines of the 14th meeting of the Russia-Islamic World Forum a modest fashion show became the center of attraction of participants.
The collections of nine Russian and foreign designers were displayed at the show.
According to organizers term modest fashion refers to a trend in modest clothing due to women’s spiritual and stylistic preferences for reasons of faith, religion or personal beliefs.
The show was held in Kazan, the capital of the Russian state of Tatarstan.
Organizers further said modest fashion offers economic opportunities for manufacturers worldwide.
It also offers an alternative trend for Muslim women and those who prefer modest clothing for various reasons.
Participating designers included Abzaeva, Gapanovich, HADAMI, SAHARA, and UMMAYA from Russia.
Aida KaumeNOVA from Kazakhstan, SANET / Keewa from Indonesia, and many others.
