2 Greek vessels seized by Iran released
ANKARA (AA) – Two Greek vessels which had been tied up since May 27 in the Persian Gulf have been released after months of negotiations, according to a report.
Vessels Prudent Warrior and Delta Poseidon have left Iranian waters following an agreement reached between the governments of Greece and Iran.
Meanwhile, Iranian-flagged oil tanker Lana departed from the port of Piraeus, the report further said.
The Greek-flagged tankers were seized in May by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in the Persian Gulf, in response to the seizure of the Iranian-origin oil from the Lana tanks by the Greek authorities.
