ISIS suspect arrested in southeastern Türkiye over killing of 2 soldiers
KILIS, Türkiye (AA) – A suspected ISIS member has been nabbed in Türkiye’s southeastern province of Kilis bordering Syria in connection with the killing of two Turkish soldiers in 2015.
According to the provincial gendarmerie command, the suspect, identifed as I I (identity withheld), was arrested in an operation in the Oncupinar neighborhood.
The suspect was allegedly involved in the killing of Private Yusuf Eylem on September 1, 2015, in Kilis and Private Sefer Tas in Syria’s al-Bab region.
