Biden Appears To Accuse Putin Of ‘Genocide’ In Ukraine
On Tuesday, U.S. President Joe Biden appeared to accuse Russian President Vladimir Putin of genocide during a speech about gasoline prices.
Speaking in Iowa, Biden said a family’s budget and ability to fill up their tank should not hinge on “whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide half a world away.”
The Biden administration has blamed sharp rises at U.S. gas stations on Putin’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine.
Russian troops have been accused of committing atrocities against civilians.
