5 large fuel depots in Ukraine hit with high-precision weapons: Russia
MOSCOW – Russian forces hit five large fuel depots in Ukraine with high-precision weapons last night, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.
These were crucial supply facilities for the Ukrainian military in the cities of Kharkiv and Mykolaiv and the Donbas region, ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a daily briefing in Moscow.
Russian forces also struck 24 more Ukrainian military targets, including an Osa-AKM air defense system, five ammunition depots and 11 areas with presence of military personnel and equipment, the spokesperson said.
In addition, Russian air defense systems downed four unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), he added.
“In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 125 Ukrainian aircraft, 93 helicopters, 407 UAVs, 227 air defense systems, 1,981 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 215 multiple rocket launchers, 854 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 1,882 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed,” Konashenkov said.
