Afghan Refugees Celebrate Ramadan With Church Assistance
Eight local churches in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania have pitched in to prepare a home for Afghan refugees.
The family of 10 Afghan evacuees arrived earlier this year.
Church volunteers have been painting, sanding and ripping out old carpeting in the home.
Once the family arrived, volunteers drove members to medical appointments, helped the children sign up for sports, and the parents set up utilities.
