Palestinian President Tells Blinken About Western Double Standards On Ukrainians Vs. Palestinains
On Sunday, Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas criticized the West’s “double standards,” penalizing Russia for invading Ukraine while ignoring Israel’s crimes against Palestinians.
Abbas shared his frustration with visiting U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a briefing with reporters at the Palestinian presidential residence in Ramallah.
He said no one who is holding Israel responsible “despite the crimes of the Israeli occupation that amounted to ethnic cleansing and racial discrimination.”
Blinken held talks with Abbas during a trip that included meeting with the foreign ministers of Israel and four Arab countries that have normalized relations with the Jewish state.
