8 Million Affected By Monsoon Flooding In Bangladesh And India
Eight million people have been affected by historic flooding in Bangladesh and India that has left 75 people dead.
Trains have been flipped by landslides and a lack of telecommunication services has made it difficult to fully assess the extent of the damage.
The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society aims to help with resettlement efforts.
The organization wrote on Twitter it will “provide cash assistance to the flood-affected families.”
