6 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza City home
GAZA, Palestine (AA) – Six Palestinians, including two children and a woman, were killed late Sunday in an airstrike by an Israeli fighter jet on a house in Gaza City.
Gaza’s civil defense agency said on Telegram that the six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli aerial attack targeting a house in the Shamm’a area.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that an Israeli fighter jet struck the home of the Basil family, resulting in the destruction of the house, damage to neighboring homes and the deaths of six Palestinians, with others injured.
Israel has killed more than 41,200 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 95,300 since October last year, according to local health authorities.
The Israeli onslaught has displaced almost the entire population of the territory.
Israel faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
