Four Palestinians killed in Israeli drone strike in southern Gaza Strip
GAZA CITY, Palestine (AA) – At least four Palestinians have been killed as an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis reported that they received the bodies of four Palestinians following the strike.
Israel has continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip since last October 7, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.
The onslaught has resulted in over 40,200 Palestinian deaths, mostly women and children, and over 93,000 injuries, according to local health authorities.
An ongoing blockade of Gaza has led to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine, leaving much of the region in ruins.
A study by The Lancet journal last month has estimated the actual number of casualties in Gaza since October 7 to be higher than 186,000- more than 8% of the entire population of the besieged ad battered Gaza Strip.
