‘3 Turkish soldiers killed by PKK in northern Iraq’
ANKARA (AA) – Three Turkish soldiers were killed by PKK fighters in northern Iraq, Turkiye’s National Defense Ministry alleged on Tuesday.
The soldiers were killed while performing their duties as Turkiye launched its latest operation dubbed Claw-Lock in northern Iraq.
Four other soldiers were also injured in the attack.
Turkiye alleges that the PKK is responsible for the deaths of at least 40,000 people, including women, children and infants over the last 35 years.
