Israel’s war on Gaza has reached 200 days, leaving a dire human and economic toll.
According to the latest figures from the Gaza Health Ministry, 34,183 Palestinians have been killed.
Over 14,500 children and 9,500 women are among those killed.
Gaza’s Government Media Office has confirmed that Israeli forces have committed a total of 3,025 massacres, killing more than three people in a single strike.
Economic damages are estimated to exceed $30 billion due to extensive Israeli strikes.
Reports indicate that many victims remain buried under the debris of destroyed buildings, suggesting that the actual death toll could be much higher.
Besides, the health crisis has become worse with the displacement of two million people, leading to outbreaks of infectious diseases among the displaced.
The Israeli army has deployed 75,000 tonnes of explosives, resulting in massive destruction of civilian infrastructure.
Over 300,000 housing units have been affected, more than 400 educational institutions have been destroyed, and 32 hospitals and 53 health centers have been knocked out of service.
Additionally, the conflict has resulted in the damage or destruction of 556 mosques, three churches, and 206 archaeological sites.
The Israeli military claims that their operations have neutralized over 13,000 fighters, while Israel has suffered 604 military casualties.
Hamas still holds 120 Israelis as prisoners. Israel says 34 of them are dead.
The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attacks stands at 1,139 Israelis.
Observers say Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has not only inflicted immediate losses but also raised serious concerns about the long-term recovery of the region.
