2 Palestinians killed by Israeli army fire in West Bank
RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – Two Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, according to the Health Ministry.
A ministry statement said the pair lost their lives during an Israeli military raid in the city of Tulkarem. Another Palestinian was injured.
Local sources said Israeli forces raided the Nur Shams refugee camp in the city early in the day.
Palestinian group Hamas mourned the two, saying they were members of its armed wing, the Qassam Brigades.
At least 108 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the start of this year, according to Palestinian figures.
Nineteen Israelis have also been killed in separate attacks during the same period.
