122 Palestinians killed, 256 injured as Israel continues onslaught on Gaza
ANKARA (AA) – At least 122 Palestinians were killed in 24 hours as Israeli forces continued their attacks on Gaza, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.
“The Israeli occupation committed 12 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 122 casualties and 256 injuries during the past 24 hours,” the Health Ministry said in a statement.
The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli army’s ongoing attacks on Gaza since Oct. 7 has risen to 22,722, with 58,166 injured, the ministry added.
Israel launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7.
Israeli officials say Hamas attacks have killed around 1,140 Israelis.
The Israeli onslaught has left Gaza in ruins, with 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure damaged or destroyed and nearly 2 million residents displaced amid acute shortages of food, clean water, and medicines.
