10 States To Ban Abortions While Others Work To Protect Access
At least 10 states have effectively banned abortion since Friday’s Supreme Court ruling striking down Roe v. Wade.
In all, 26 states could outlaw or set extreme limits on abortions, according to the Guttmacher GUTMUCKER Institute, a research group which supports abortion rights.
Monday marked a fourth day of demonstrations across the U.S. following a weekend of packed protests over the loss of the nearly 50-year-old legal protection.
